Jaravee is Thailand’s latest golf prodigy.  She began playing golf going to a driving range with her father at the age of 6 in Bangkok.  Initially, golf was just a hobby but two years later she started playing in local tournaments and it soon became apparent that Jaravee had real potential in the sport.  Jaravee started playing AJGA tournaments in the US, and quickly caught the attention of IMG as she was recruited by the world renowned IMG Academy in FL on a full scholarship to study and train full time.  Overcoming difficulties of living alone in a foreign land with different language and culture without her family, Jaravee embraced her new surroundings as she flourished at the IMG Academy and being named its top female golfer in 2014.  She repeated that feat in 2016 following victory at the prestigious Annika Invitational in Feb 2017 which brings together the finest 12-19 year olds from around the world.   Jaravee was T5 going into the final day but an incredible final round of 65 saw her securing a stunning victory. It was the lowest round in the history of the tournament and it helped clinch her maiden junior title. 

Jaravee was recruited by Duke University and quickly became a favorite amongst her teammates and the pillar of her team.  During her time at Duke, she has the third best career stroke average in school history, a four time All-ACC and All-American selection, and led Duke to its seventh NCAA Championship in 2019 by defeating the #1 ranked amateur in the world Jennifer Kupcho in the final match.  Jaravee also was one of the four finalists for the National Player of the Year in 2019.  In 2019, Jaravee made history as one of three Thai golfers playing in the inaugural August National Women’s Amateur. She also represented the International Team at 2017 Arnold Palmer Cup.  She topped off her college career by being selected as the recipient of the 2021 Juli Inkster Senior Award, which gave her exemption into 2nd Stage of LPGA Qualifying and LPGA’s Cambia Portland Classic.

Upon graduating from Duke in June of 2021, Jaravee declared herself pro.  Jaravee is a fun, likeable, sociable person with a magnetic personality that draws people to her.  Just as she excelled academically during her time at Duke, she is always pushing herself on the golf course to improve as an athlete.  In her downtime, she enjoys watching Korean TV drama and listening to K-Pop.  With a consistent golf game and the strong desire to get to the top, the future is very bright for Jaravee.

자라비는 태국 골프 신동의 계보를 잇는 유망주이다.  방콕에서 6세에 아빠를 따라 골프연습장에 간 후 재미를 느끼게 되었다. 처음엔 취미로 했지만 2년후 로컬 대회에 출전하게 되면서 남다른 재능을 보이기 시작했고 본인도 더 깊은 관심을 갖게 되었다.  얼마 후 미국의 주니어 투어인 AJGA 대회들을 참가하기 시작했으며 세계최대 스포츠 에이전시인 IMG에서 관심을 갖고 플로리다에 위치한 스포츠계의 명문 IMG Academy에 전액 장학금을 받고 입학하여 학업과 병행하며 체계적이며 전문적인 골프 훈련을 받게 된다.  가족없이 홀로 타국에서 새로운 문화와 언어에 적응해야 하는 어려움을 오히려 받아들이며 IMG Academy에서 모범을 보이며 두각을 나타내었고 2014년에 IMG아카데미 최우수 여자 선수로 선정되었다.  전세계 12-19세 톱선수들이 참가하여 주니어계의 메이저인 2017 Annika Invitational을 우승하면서 2016년 IMG Acadmey 최우수 선수로 다시 한번 선정된다.  마지막날 공동5위로 시작하였으나 65타로 맹활약하면서 놀라운 역전승을 거두었다.  대회 역대 최저타를 기록하며 주니어 첫 우승을 거머쥐었다. 

자라비는 명문 듀크대에서 스카우트 되어 특유의 친화력으로 팀원들이 가장 좋아하는 선수이자 골프팀의 핵심 멤버로 자리를 잡게 된다.  듀크대에 재학 기간 동안 역대 3위에 해당하는 평균스트로크를 기록하였고 All-ACC 및 All-American팀에 4회 연속 선정되었으며, 2019년 NCAA Championship 파이널 매치에서 당시 세계아마랭킹 1위인 제니퍼 컵초를 누르고 듀크대를 통산 7번째 우승으로 이끌었다.  2019년 미국 대학 최우수 4학년생에게 주어지는 Honda Sports Award 최종후보자 4인에 선정되기도 하였다.  그 해 동료 2명과 함께 태국 선수로는 최초로 August National Women’s Amateur대회에 초대 받은 기록을 남기게 되었다.  그 밖에도 2017년 Arnold Palmer Cup에 인터내셔널팀 대표로 활약하는 등 국제 무대에서 태국의 위상을 드높였다.  2021년에는 대학4학년생의 최고의 영예인 Juli Inkster Senior Award를 수상하여 대학생활의 정점을 찍었으며 이로 인해 LPGA Cambia Portland Classic에 초청 받고 LPGA Q스쿨 2차로 직행하는 행운을 얻었다.

자라비는 2021년 6월에 듀크대를 졸업한 후 프로 선언을 하였고 LPGA투어 VOA Classic대회에서 월요예선 연장전에서 아쉽게 출전권을 놓쳤으나 Marathon Classic 월요예선전에서 또 한번의 연장전을 통해 출전권을 얻는 등 잠재력을 보여주었다.  자라비는 한국문화를 사랑하며 친화력이 강하고 귀엽고 예의바른 성격으로 사람들을 이끄는 매력을 지닌 밝은 선수이다.  또한 골프에 있어서는 노력으로 각 레벨에서 정상에 오른 본인의 실력처럼 앞날이 매우 밝은 선수이다.
